How do I switch to manual focus?
Touch the vertical slider on the right edge of the camera screen. Drag up or down to adjust the focus.
How do I return to autofocus?
Tap anywhere on the camera preview to refocus automatically at that point.
How do I switch lenses?
Tap the camera icon in the top-left corner to choose a different lens (0.5x, 1x, Telephoto, or Front Camera, depending on your device).
How do I zoom?
Pinch on the camera preview. The app supports zoom up to 7×.
How do I lock focus and exposure?
Tap the lock button at the bottom-right of the screen. Tap again to unlock.
Can I change the photo format?
Yes — open Settings (gear icon, top right) to switch between JPEG and HEIC, and to set photo quality (High / Medium / Low).
Where do my photos and videos go?
Everything is saved to your iPhone's Photos library. Tap the thumbnail in the bottom-left corner to open the Photos app.
Microscope Camera does not collect, transmit, or share any personal data. All photos, videos, and optional video audio are saved only to your device's Photo Library unless you choose to share them. See the privacy policy for details.
