Microscope Camera ("the app") is designed with privacy as a default. This policy explains how the app handles information when you use it, including if you use the app in France, Italy, or another country in the European Union or European Economic Area.
Microscope Camera does not collect personal data. The app operates on your device and does not transmit photos, videos, audio, settings, identifiers, analytics, or other personal information to external servers.
Because the app does not collect personal data, it does not sell personal data, share personal data for cross-context behavioral advertising, or use personal data for profiling. The app has no analytics, no tracking, no advertising, and no third-party SDKs.
Photos and videos you capture in the app are saved only to your device's local Photo Library. The app does not upload, copy, or otherwise transmit your captures anywhere. Files remain on your device under your control.
You control any sharing of captured media through iOS features, such as Photos, AirDrop, Messages, Mail, or other apps you choose to use.
The app requests the following iOS permissions only to provide its core functionality:
You can review or revoke these permissions at any time in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security.
For users in France, Italy, and the rest of the European Union or European Economic Area, the app is designed to avoid collecting personal data. Since the app does not collect or process personal data on external servers, requests such as access, correction, deletion, portability, or objection generally apply to data stored on your own device and can be handled by deleting media or the app from your device.
If you contact the developer for support, any information you choose to provide in that communication will be used only to respond to your request.
The app is intended for educational, hobbyist, documentation, and general microscope imaging use. It is not intended to diagnose, treat, prevent, or monitor any disease or medical condition, and it is not a medical device.
The app does not knowingly collect personal information from children. In the European Union, where parental consent rules may apply to children under the relevant local age of digital consent, the app is designed not to collect personal data from children or adults.
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new "Last updated" date.
